We raelly enjoyed our stay. Weather was awful so limited us to what we could do. Food was excellent in the bar ane a nice atmosphere. Room was good and I would return in the Summer

  • Older travelers
    9.2

The location was particularly good, with superb views across the estuary and easy access to all of north Wales. The room was of a good size, and the bed very comfortable.

The chairs in the bedroom were not very comfortable. Booking online meant we had to pay for breakfast, which was rather expensive as an addition.

A great location for both Conwy and Llandudno...

Bathroom could of been cleaner but ok. Other than the hotel was 10/10.

  • Family with children

The staff went out of there way to help with any enquiry we had, nothing was too much trouble,Very friendly and extremely helpful.I Will definately be booking again at this hotel. The view from the room was worth every penny, didnt need too watch tv,just sat outside and chiiled out watching the river and marina,The room was very clean and comfortable,Excellent location to tour most of north wales coast from.

Our stay at the Quay (pronounced key) was quite excellent. The facilities were tops and the location is both scenic and convienient for exploring all of North West Wales. Everything from the Conwy Castle that sits across the water from the hotel to the Great Orme trolley and 3000 year old copper mines to explore. All along with the hospitality of the Welsh people and culture. A grand time... Wish I had longer.

We stayed at the Quay Hotel for 2 nights to celebrate our Pearl Anniversary as we had originally honeymooned in Conwy 30 years ago. The staff at the hotel were professional and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The room was excellent, clean, well-equipped and with the most beautiful view over the estuary. The breakfasts were great and cooked to order with the restaurant staff being very attentive. We didn't use the actual spa facilities but the pool, steam room and sauna were very good. All in all we had a great stay, the weather, views and hotel combined to make a fantastic and relaxing break.

  • Older travelers

The staff from the Reception to the Domestics were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and well run. Breakfast choses and staff more than helpful.

We stayed next door to a room with a dog. It was reasonably well behaved but I wouldn't have expected a hotel of this standard to accept dogs. I like dogs and we have one of our own but I do not think that this hotel is suitable for dogs. We paid over £300 for our room and didn't expect to be growled/barked at.

  • Older travelers

Feel easy hotel, very comfortable and pleasurable. Fantastic location.Good choice for breakfast, very tasty. Good size comfortable bedroom and bed, excellent bathroom. Easy to get to other touristy destinations. Friendly staff.

The bedroom was very hot, difficult to cool down, has no air conditioning, this is very bad for a hotel of this standing.

  • Older travelers
    9.6

The staff were very welcoming and efficient; the hotel had a quietly understated feeling of calm and luxury; the food in the restaurant and bar area was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Some of the staff appeared nervous and inexperienced

  • Couple

We stayed in a suite overlooking the estuary. The suite was very tastefully decorated, had its own balcony and the views over the estuary were lovely. I couldn't find fault with anything during our stay. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Older travelers
    9.2

A high end modern hotel with a friendly relaxing atmosphere

    Great bed, worn mattress.

  • Older travelers
    9.6

The ambiance was one of relaxation and luxury; the suite was enormous and very comfortable and the view was lovely even in the driving rain. Spa facilities a bonus

we were in Tower 2 in a suite and had to walk in the pouring rain to the main building...there is a real need for a covered walkway; an umbrella in the room (which wasn't available) just doesn't cut it!

  • 7.4

The view from the room across the estuary toward Conway castle was spectacular.

WiFi was very disappointing as never worked during our stay.

  • 10.0

Very relaxing a great venue great staff

  • 8.2

Location good as we had access via bikes to explore the area. Plus train service good. Staff very good at placing bikes in safe area. Relaxed style enjoyed spa facilities. Porters on departure were excellent. Would book again.

Breakfast was very disorganised. Staff not prepared or efficient enough! Had to wait and ask several times for items. Have stayed before this is a first time experience.
